Sri Kagapujandar is one of the most remarkable siddhars that this universe has known so far. Of the innumerable/countless (Pathinen kodi) Siddhars that our universe possess, Kagapujandar is the greatest or invincible siddhar that time had ever seen. He is reverently addressed as Ayya by all his devotees and beloved followers.

In the whole of the universe there are 9 Nadhaas, who have under them all the siddhars and the siddhars have under them all the Rishis and the Rishis have under them all the Munivars. Kagapujandar is the master of all the Nadhaas.

During the times of cosmic element destruction (apocalypse) he foresees the end of all the galaxies and the beginning of the new era. He has always been the one empowered, to decide, who will be the next Shiva for this Universe and he is the one who gives Lord Shiva his Upadesam (Divine Initiation).

  Kagapujandar was born to Mirazdar Muthaiah and Chinammal Ammayar as their 8th child on Ashtami day, in Edaiyathur village near Pudukottai district of Tamilnadu, India.

When the village witnessed a heavy downpour of rainfall for several days together, one day during this rainy season Chinammal Ammayar went to the farms for her daily inspection, where she fell down unconscious all of a sudden. While she woke up, she could see her sweet little baby boy born with a sparkling light & radiance on his face. After the birth of the baby, it continued to rain non-stop for next 15 days.

As Ammayar was not able to feed the baby naturally with mother's milk, a harijan servant (named Mrs.Paani) who was working in the house fed the baby, and that's how Sri Kagapujandar was raised.   Sri Sivakumar Swamigal, One of the perfect example of Guru-disciple relationship can be explained through his life history , who is called lovingly as "Anna" by everybody. Anna was born to Thiru Senthilvel and Maadathi Ammal on October 8,1969 as the 3rd son in Tuticorin district of Tamilnadu.

Born as a son to a Police Officer, Anna led a normal life in Chennai, Tamilnadu. His ancestors were all devotees of Lord Karthikeya (Muruga Perumaan), but Anna used to be a Athiest (Naastik) and used to be strictly a non-believer of God. Anna used to see a face in his dreams several times.

One day in the year of 1999, Anna saw that face, talk to him and ordering him to meet 80 years old, Sri Kannan Swamigal at a specific place in the Girivala path of Thiruvannamalai. Astonished by the way it was conveyed to him in his dreams, Anna went to the spot and amazed to meet Swamigal, who said to him that he was waiting for him to meet him.
